You will be informed within 3 working days of our reply to your complaint. We will explain what actions we intend to take to resolve your complaint.
Terms and Conditions
- Warranty
- All of our product catalogues (with the exception of lamps) carry a 1 year return to base warranty unless stated otherwise.
- In the event of a fault the product will be repaired or replaced, depending on the nature of the fault. We do not consider damage to glass, or other easily replaceable parts, to constitute a faulted fitting.
- The warranty applies to electrical components only and is void if deemed that the fitting has been incorrectly fitted or suffered abuse in a manner not intended for the purpose supplied.
- All of our products confirm to British and European standards and are manufactured by vetted sources in accordance with current legislation at the time of purchase.
- Dimensions, wattages, descriptions and finishes are given as a guide only and do not constitute a legally binding contract.
- Some lights are sold complete with lamps and these fittings are clearly identified within the description of the fitting.
- Returns and Refund Policy
After reading our policy and you need to return goods for any reason, please contact our customer services department first on 08432 899 212 (Lo-call Rate) and we will give you a returns authorisation number and answer any questions that you may have.
Please make sure to include your returns number on a slip within the box to be returned.
- All products have a 7 day money back guarantee, commencing the day after delivery.
- If the product you purchased develops a fault after the money back guarantee and within the warranty period, we will exchange or repair your purchase in accordance with your consumer rights.
- We will always consider accepting for return any unused and unwanted goods within 90 days of purchase by way of an exchange or e-credit. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss this with you.
- All unwanted goods must be returned in an acceptable condition, in their original packaging which must be intact and have not been defaced in anyway. All lamps, fixings and instructions supplied must also be in the box with the goods.
- Any complimentary goods supplied must also be returned.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning any unwanted goods and we do advise that you do so via recorded delivery method. We can arrange for the goods to be collected and the cost of collection would be deducted from your e-credit or charged.
- Goods supplied classed as special orders, made to order or modified to your requirements, we are sorry to say that they cannot be returned.
- All refunds will be authorised following receipt and inspection of the goods at our warehouse in Washington.
- All Refunds will be less our original shipping charges, and any partial or collection charges that may be applicable.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the above conditions are not met.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Installing
- We strongly recommend that all products be installed by a qualified electrician.
- All products must be earthed (where necessary) and the mains supply must be isolated prior to installation.
- Please note that an incorrect installation can void your warranty.
- Installation accessories such as screws, rawl plugs, etc. are not always supplied with products.
- We do not accept liability for any personal damages such as electrocution or damage due to improper installation.
- Your statutory rights are not affected.
- Shipping
- We make every effort to deliver your goods as soon as possible after your order is placed.
- If we have the items in stock at our showroom and we receive your order before 2pm we will typically dispatch the same day.
- For most other orders we dispatch with 5 working days of receipt of your order.
- Special, custom or bespoke orders will take longer to dispatch.
- We will contact you (normally via email) shortly after receipt of your order to advice an estimated shipping date.
- Our delivery costs are calculated on this premise – we do not offer an express delivery service.
- If you item is not in stock we will contact you via phone or email with the options to either:
- Have the item placed on back order and shipped as soon as it's available
- Cancel your order if you'd rather not wait.
- Once an item is shipped we will supply you with a tracking number if available.
- The order is considered accepted and contract of sale made when the order is dispatched - receipt of order is not confirmation of acceptance. We reserve the right to cancel sales due to pricing errors up until this point.
- Although we make every effort to deliver your order to you within the estimated time frame, we cannot accept responsibility if your item is delivered outside this time.
- We recommend you do arrange for electricians or similar to install items, until you have the items in your possession and have checked them for damage.
- We reserve the right to alter our shipping charges at any time.
